SATA disk only usable as USB???

I have a SATA disk that worked fine. I had ZFS and Windows7 on it. It was in an external chassis.

Now, the disk is suddenly gone in BIOS. I can not see it in BIOS. But if I insert the disk into a USB chassis, I can see the disk and use it. What can the problem be?

I have inserted the disk into other SATA cables, but it can not be seen in BIOS. Other disks in these SATA cables works fine. The problem is with the disk.
