Not shure were the correct connection spot is on the hard drive,it's a 80 Gb hitachi,deskstar(just not shure from the illustration they are given,to me it looks like they are saying to connect it were the jumpers are located.? thanx
it takes effort to not hookup a sata hard drive correctly. Connect the cable to the motherboard and the other end to the hard drive, it can ONLY connect in one orientation, like wise for the power cable. You don't need to worry about jumpers on a SATA hard drive.
