First off I don't need RAID on the card, just a SATA Card. Secondly I need 4 ports, but I dont mind going with two cards w/ 2 ports each.

Another thing is the PCI Slot is only 32-Bit...Anyone know any cheap good ones? I need it to last because the fileserver is running 24/7 and such. I'd like to spend as little as possible without frying drives.

Hmm pricey. I know im being a tightass, but I have to pinch my pennies.

I dont really need command queing really. Im just doing basix File/Printer serving, streaming movies & MP3s over network, possibly RADIUS server...Nothing major.

I am using the Promise SATA150 TX2 Plus controller, it has 2 SATA ports and one PATA.
They also have a TX4 plus with 4 SATA ports and no PATA.
I think I paid under $25 from newegg for the one I have.
Well, I just checked newegg and I probably paid $40 for the one I have.
