I am looking at getting some new sata cables and am curious about the cables. Are there certain manufacturers to stay away from? What do you know about power/data cable combos? I was thinking about getting the power/ cable combos, but they are hard to find and seem cheaper then the regular calbes. Is there a reason for this? Thanks for the help in advance.

I would stay away from the combo cables and get normal sata cables. Only thing I would really look for are the ones that have the metal locking tab on them. Go for those.
