SATA cable falls out...

For some reason on my WD800JD the SATA cable refuses to stay in. If you accidentally bump it, it just falls out completely. You really have to shove it on and back away quick before it pops off at you. The drive runs fine and all, but for some reason, the cable just doesn't like my drive or my motherboard. You would think that WD would ship a cable that the HDD worked with. Is it really my cable or what? Does anyone else have these problems?

Also, whats with the power adapter it came with? It doesn't seem to fit anywhere on my drive, so I just use the regular 4-pin from my PSU. Whats with that?

Get a WD secure connect cable and your worries will be gone.

Wow thanks. I didn't even know such a think existed. I'm gonna order one tomorrow morning. Thanks a buch.
