For all you SATA users out there.

Going to pick up my first SATA drive soon, and I was just wondering if they get alot hotter than your typical PATA 7200?

 
Naaw. The drives are mechanically the same. Indeed in many cases the drives are the exact same except for different connectors and an additional bridge chip on the controller board.
