Sata 2. how much faster?

topics says all. I got a normal sata 200 giger now. Should i worry about getting a sata 2
 
Short answer: no.

Long answer: no. SATA I/O (SATA II as most of us call it) doesn't really bring speed increases. All it does is specify new things for SATA devices, like the 3 Gbps transfer rates, NCQ, and port multiplying. This does not mean any drive has to support all, or any, of these features.

No SATA II drive offers any performance increase over pre-existing SATA I drive. None of them are getting close to 1.5 Gbps, let alone 3 Gbps. NCQ doesn't really increase performance that much from what I've read. However, port multiplying is pretty cool though, but I don't think you need to worry about that just yet.
