Having problem with the X800 in 3D mode !!!

When I turn 3D Mode on in ATITool, it will run for a few seconds,
stop, then run a few more seconds; finally will Hard Lock the
system. The only way it will reboot is to turn the power off and on via power supply switch.
It will do the same thing with Sapphire Trixx as well.

Is this software or hardware issue ?

Thanks,
JT

hardware i assume. did the same shit with my X800GTO 512mb version. I tried running trixx and my comp would crash, used Ati tool and i'd lose video input for 30 seconds before it VPU recover kicked in and defaulted my already defaulted settings. I wouldn't bother and send it back for a different card. Sapphire fucked up some of those cards. my X800GTO is gone now, back to newegg for some other unlucky guy.
