When it comes to ATI in the past, I've restricted myself to built by ATI cards. I remember back in the 9600 Pro/XT era, there were questions as to the quality of Sapphire's components. Is this still an item of concern? Or are the cards that they're putting out as good as authentic ATI stuff?

They are the authentic ATI stuff =O ATI has Sapphire build their cards for them if I recall.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Am I just hallucinating, or were they putting cheapass heatsinks on 9600Pros/XTs like a year or more ago?

So it sounds like the only thing you really lose out on is the e-year BBA warranty. Which, technically, is voided the hell out of anyway. ;)

If I ever look at cards, I never look at the warrantly (then again, when I ever look at anything elextronic, I dont care about the warranty, because theres a %99 chance that either me or my dad will open it up, and fiddle around with it)
