Sapphire Warranty

They go through althonmicro.com based in Walnut, CA if you are in the US. I had to RMA a 290x last month due to a faulty displayport output but got it a replacement within a week. The communication was okay during the whole process. Not making excuses but there is some random flash flooding going on here so give it a few more days. I would follow up with an email on Monday though.

That is only if you call 1280 core and 1600 MHz on the
memory aggressive. I call it what I was meant to get all along.
But no, that was not it. It was not overclocked when it
blew. I had the fan cut way down so the wife could sleep,
and while I was playing the game, the gpu just blew.
I mean, I know that the fan being that low, it turned
that card into a oven, but I should be able to play a game
at stock speeds with very little fan noise, and not something
sounding like a jet airplane flying over head. AMD should really
partner better with oem's and force them to use at least a standard
fan set up that will control the heat of these cards better, or charge
them a higher premium for the gpu's. That way, it would force oem's
to put better fans on them, to control that built in oven AMD calls a gpu.

I have both. I even had the nzxt bracket with a h90 on it and
a tornado 165 cfm fan mounted on the bracket and a fan controller.
Got sorrier OC results because guess what? No vrm cooler with the
bracket. Talking about a let down. That was the reason I had to go
back to the stock fan, because I was in the process of searching for
the best vrm coolers to put on the card. So really, that sorry nzxt tore
my gpu up, just for the lack of being greedy.

Card makers should take a little better care of their heat problem in the
first place.Think of all that money a company will lose for just being to sorry
to put a proper fan on their card. How much will they lose on that new card
that they will have to send me, but not just me. All the cards that get returned
just because they got overheated and died.

People who buy $500 gpus should research before purchasing...

the heat issue was mentioned by every reviewer on the planet.

Hope the RMA goes smooth.

That sucks and things like this happen to gpus. Does Sapphire still require the end user to pay shipping both ways now? I know they broke it off in me a while back. Then told me I didn't get a rma from them after I sent in the gpu. If I wanted the dead gpu back. I could either send more money to get the dead card shipped back. Or they could trash it and just call it a day. Needless to say, I never purchased anything from them again. Life has been good without Sapphire. Keep us updated on the RMA.

Why was your rma denied?

They actually told me that they didn't give me the rma number to begin with. Yes the one that was wrote on the outside of the box. The same one they sent to me in a email from Sapphire. I even showed them all the emails and they still denied it. Live and learn is all we can do. Hopefully the OP's RMA goes better for him though.
