Want to buy a Saphire retail ATI card but how long does the warranty last on these things? I can't find out on their site anywhere.

Should be two years but I think they have some wonky thing where you have to pay like $20! I was told 2 years over the phone when i got my OEM sapphire XT. She said same as retail. The board let me know about the handling fees.

Sorry to bump but I am wondering the same thing. Google hasn't turned up any good information, neither has Sapphire's site. It's a holiday weekend and my card is dieing.

Anyone know how long their warranty is? I got my X800XT PE about a year and a half ago.

sapphire 1 year
BBA 1 year ----- older cards 2 or 3 years
PowerColor 2 years
Asus 3 years
MSI 3 years for service 2 years for parts
HIS 1 year

Damn, well im going through the Sapphire RMA process here. I hope I have more than 1 year warranty.

Sapphire has a 2 year warranty.

But from reading thier forums, it's a long process as it has to be shipped to hong kong. And alot of times there is a charge. I just bought a Sapphire x1800xt 256mb myself, I hope that if it does go out, it's within the first year so I can deal with newegg and not sapphire.

Right, like I said in my 5-19'er i got 2 years quote from calling them, and that's on an OEM. Said it was the same. You're more than welcome to do the same in case my call receiver was dropping the funky blue shrooms. Beware of charge on handling RMAs.

Are you serious? I haven't gotten my RMA # yet but the address they gave me is in Walnut, CA.

they warranty OEM cards?

Make sure you keep your origional sales slip. I bought one from a company and it later died, I didn't have the paper work so they refused the RMA.
