i cant seem to find a place that has these in stock for me to buy :D any suggestions/links for me

iv been looking arround, newegg dosn't seem to have it, or any place else.. If i search for it i just get reviews.

this card looks to be badass, and id like to price it/order it but cant find it anywhere.. THANKS

www.ncix.com has them in stock. Sweet video card IMO, i have the Radeon 9600 XT and it kicks ass. You'll get a much more decent OC then I will though.

GL:D

yeah im looking at getting this card, or the gainward ..

but im having problems finding this card....

and then i read the review [h] gave it.. and iv pretty much decided i want it over the gainward(?)..

and yes ordering from the US, thx! if any one knows any other retailers for this it would be very helpfull,

I think the ONLY difference between the Sapphire ultimate 9600xt and the atlantis/fireblade 9600xt is the use of the heatpipe cooling. The Sapphire 9800pro/XT Ultimate use the Zalman-C80 (or whatever the hell it's model # is). The 9600xt just uses a cut down version of the same cooler.

They should o/c about the same with active cooling.
see my sig for what I got out of my card.

what cooling do you have on your card?
I could save my self some money now and just leave it with stock cooling, and upgrade that later.

thanks for that info!

stock GPU cooler with shin-etsu thermal paste. Also have ramsinks.

Even though the stock cooler has a fan, I can't hear it outside my case even with the side panel off. Very quiet.

got mine from z-buy for like $147.

i found the "ultimate " on new egg for 168..

i think i might get that, i dont know which is the better deal.

I think you'll be happy with either card, however, you're approaching that price range where you could also consider the 5900nu, 9700/9800pro (for a little more).

i dont have the "little more" at the time, id have to wait another month or so.. and i think i'll be happy witha 9600xt, I think I'll even order the one you posted me to(thanks), due to the price. depending on what shipping is.

where did you get your ramsinks from?? and how did you attach them? tape? glue?

I see that most of the links link to a 128M card and not the 256M card. I am new to overclocking and have a Koolance water cooled case coming in today. (It was priced to good for me to pass up.) It is coming with a VGA cooler and I will need to get a good card to OC with. Which is recommended? Will the price of the 256M throw it too high and should I look at another card instead?

Thanks,

Zych

my thing is i see no need for a 256mb on this card.. and for 150.... it should be on its way right now :D

I understand the "little more" issue.

as far as the ramsinks go, I used a dremel and cut a couple old 486 heatsinks to fit. Attached them with plain ol' Shin-Etsu thermal paste (I figured that if it was strong enough to pull the cpu out of the mainboard socket while removing the hsf, it was strong enough for some small ramsinks.)
