My 2nd 5970 is on way and I haven't seen too many threads talking about problems with the 5970 in Crossfire. Was hoping a few of you who have this setup could share your experiences both pos and neg. I'll be running 5970 in Crossfire with a GTX285 for PhysX. Maybe I could avoid some of the pain you've had to endure. Thanks;)

no problems here at all.... well just some flickering in BFBC2 off the water everything else is ok
 
I haven't had any issues with two 5970s in crossfire. Early driver issues with a few games have been ironed out. I've been playing Dragon Age, Left 4 Dead 2, BioShock, and Company of Heroes. Company of Heroes occasionally has some weird flashing in-game, and sometimes the text in menus half-disappears (half of the letters are simply missing) or becomes gibberish; not sure if this is a Crossfire issue or just an ATI driver issue. It happens infrequently, though, and not enough to be more than a minor annoyance.

I had a few flashing texture issues with my 8800 GTX SLI setup in Company of Heroes, so maybe the game just isn't all that multi-GPU friendly.
