Hello!
My r9 270 died but it's still under warranty, so i'm just going to RMA it, hoping to get a replacement...
lurking around i've read that Sapphire, even under warranty, put a delivery cost on gpu...
So i was wandering: How much it will be?"
i've read different ppl sayng VERY different prices.....so i'm asking here, hoping to get a somewhat better information =P

oh, and, i dunno if it actually mean something, but i live in Italy, Europe

What do you mean by delivery cost? As in the cost for you to send in the card? Because if that's the case, then it depends on where you are and where the RMA center is and which service you use (ex. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc).
 
The question you asks make no sense to me, since i have never heard of a charge for warrenty. Also most of us here live in north america so its impossible for us to know exact stuff like that. You really need to just call them directly to know for sure but if i had to guess you just have to pay for shipping the card to them. Here in the us we can send stuff via us mail very cheap but we have no idea what shipping cost over there would be in comparison. Again ask your local shipping company's this question. lol How the hell would we know?;)

The reason it sounds funny is that it's definitely illegal to charge for RMAing products in north america so this would never be a problem.

seyfer, give Sapphire a call and see. It's the only way you'll know for sure.

Well, they make you pay for the delivery...or at least, that's what they say....
The problem is that you have to delivey it to the nearest Sapphire warehouse-->Sapphire main building in Hong Kong--->Canada to the Assistance department.....and then all the way back.....or at least that's what i've read so far
 
Well first thing you need to do is get online with sapphire and get an rma approved (assuming your card really is bad) You didn't ask us for help troubleshooting your card so thats on you. Its not rocket science in most cases when its bad it wont work at all or the screen will be garbled anytime the driver is installed.They probably need to ask you a few straight forward questions to try and weed out cards that don't need to be sent in. They will give you an address and rma number. if you have a box and packing material get that part down before going to the post office...if not bring the card and information with you with a bank card or some local cash. if you grew up there it shouldn't be to bad, now if you only speak English your in for a rough trip otherwise your good. Over here it could be shipped for under 10 bucks at the post office.....over there bring at least 20 bucks to be on the safe side. Best of luck - Thats all there is to it. (from what i hear your looking at 4 weeks minimum) and if your expecting a brand new card forget it cause they only send out refurbished cards and it could be worse then the one your sending in. So don't send in a perfectly working card cause you might get back one in worse condition.
