Sapphire going all out on software bundle

I read that article the other day.

I think that's a nice innovation that got there.
When I bought my XFX Geforce 6600GT it came
with 3 games that I had no interest in. :rolleyes:

I hope more card manufacturers take a cue from
Sapphire.
 
not as sweet as it sounds. The games can only be patched through the proprietary software, which means it could be weeks before you get a patch for a game. If you install the normal patch you wont be able to play the game anymore as it will mess with the copy protection or whatnot on the install.

Bottom line, neat idea but fundamentally flawed execution. (unless of course they changed that....but the last anandtech article I read about this said all that)
