Hi!
I just got my Sapphire 9800 Pro Atlantis 128Mb, and of course the first thing i did was to dump the bios through ati tool.
And when opened it in notepad, there on line 2 it was shining "R360" :D.
And then when i started OC:ing i was not as happy, the card stopped at 408/360 after 10 minutes of "finding mem/core" in atitool :(.
Is this right?
Now id really like to know how youre sapphire cards OC:ed "out if the box" so to say.
I need to know this if got at crappy card i could send it back and get a new one.

BTW: The Hynix Hy5xxxxxxxxx-F28 mems, are they 2.5ns, 2.8ns or 2.86ns?...

My R350 sapphire is 412/365 stock cooling, and atleast 425/365 with zalman dual heatpipe cooler, havent tried higher.

F28 = 2.8ns = 357 MHz theoretical. With cooling (ramsinks) you can probably get it up more, though; on my old 9800P I hit ~365 stock and 385-390 with ramsinks. Your clocks aren't overly surprising, the latter-gen 9800 Pros tend to overclock less (partially because better R360 cores, e.g. 412 MHz+, are yielded to 9800XT), so 408 sounds about right. It's not fantastic but most of my friends with the newer 9800Ps get around 410-415. With better cooling and a voltage mod you can expect better gains, though. Also you might have different results with a new BIOS.

ok thanks, so i dont really to worry about not being able to flash it to XT when my AC Vga silencer arrives?
Which XT BIOS do you recomend for me?
