Sapphire 7970ghz vapor-x (2 different model #'s???)

Newegg has this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202001

Superbiiz has this one: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=AT-7970GHZ

Spec wise they look the same, but for some reason Superbiiz has it for quite a bit cheaper.

Is one known to be a better overclocker? Or are they both the same and the websites just using different model/mfr numbers?

Thx for any feedback.

they are the same card. superbiiz has a better price. why don't you go for the dual x version. the vapor-x has PCB sag due to massive cooler weight.

1ghz boost clock. this card has unlocked voltage. the cooler is good.

Thx for the feedback. Well I was looking at the vapor x because of the higher clock out of the box and vapor x cooling, but was unaware of the PCB sag. Is there any solutions to the PCB sag?

Now im very interested in the card you linked if I can find more info regarding the unlocked voltage, and temps as it doesnt say it has the vapor x cooling. Again thx for the info.

Is this the same card you linked to, as again neweggs model # is different? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...-cables-_-na-_-na&Item=N82E16814202008&cm_sp=

yeah that card at newegg is the same sapphire hd 7970 oc (1 ghz). it has the dual x cooler which is good. you can ask about this card on forums here or overclock.net
