SAPHIRE X1600 black screen HELP!!!

I recently bought the saphire ATI X1600. After install of both the card and the drivers, when i rebooted my monitor gets no signal. Any idea what could cause this? I have gone back and tried the old video card and it worked fine so I know its not the CPU. Thanks

Does turning off the PC and then turning it back on help? I recently put a post here that got ignored about the same kind of issue. I ALMOST fixed the problem by switching to the Omega 5.12 drivers. Still happens maybe once a day though.......

Have you tried the other video output connector? I reacently got X1900XT and to my suprise when both connectors were in use, only one of em provided signal after reboot. When only one connector was in use, both connectors gave signal. Weird but true.
