I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz and have been using it for more than a year with no problems. A week or so ago I was moving my computer to watch a movie, and then when I moved it back the next day I realized the sound wasn't working.
I checked all the speaker connections and everything looked fine. Then I took a look at Sound and Audio Device Properties in control panel (Using windows XP by the way) and where it should say the name of the Sound Card I'm using instead it just says none or something along those lines (I'm not on that computer now).
I looked in device manager and didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I tried uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling and that didn't help. Then I ran the diagnostics that the drivers come with and it didn't recognize the card. I tried moving it to a different PCI slot and it recognized it when I booted up, I canceled the auto install and installed the drivers like the readme says to do, but it still says none in Sound and Audio devices. Does anybody out there have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
