Oklahoma.

Got it at Wal-Mart for 20% off (regular 10% employee discount plus our chirstmas coupon for an extra 10% off on one item).

I'll only need it for a few cuts, then I'll probably sell it or see if they will let me bring it back, lol. ;)

lovin it :), maybe two dremels isnt too bad eh? hmm <bryan goes to wallmart to pick up a second new dremel>

Where in OK? I'm from Norman, myself.....moved to TX about 3 years ago. (Ender's Game might be the best book i've ever read.)

I am getting an 400XPR for christmas myself, to complete my workshop.

I'm in oklahoma... so where do you live, and when will you not be at home?

I'm from a tiny town called Muskogee, it's about 45 minutes south of Tulsa.

Yeah Ender's Game was a good book, I went to Boy's State in high school and this guy was reading it, that's how I found out about it. If you liked it, checkout Forever War by Joe Haldeman, it's pretty cool too.

Dang, I used to live in Tulsa- just moved to OKC for lack of a decent job.

Read Forever War, too- recommended.

I've got a dremel (not the 400xpr- the one it superceded- don't recall the model offhand) but I need to get a extension for it. Or would it be better (read: cheaper) to just get the 400?

Not sure, this was $80 regular price.

Hmm... I think I paid $40 for my current one, and while it came with accessories it was mostly tool bits. Don't know how much a good extension runs but if it's more than $40 then this 400xpr deal's starting to look good to me....

Oh I've been to Muskogee. Passed through, and had lunch I believe, on my way to a rafting trip on the Missouri river. This was about 15 years ago, though.

The 400XPR runs aboutr $69 around here right now, at lowes/home depot. With all the goodies its right about $100 or so. I'm getting all the goodies. I'm stoked.

i actually got that exact box o' goodness bout a month ago....i have been to the mountain and it is good....lol

same xpr i received.....

such an improvement over the generic dremel tool i had.
