Post Your Sandy Bridge H20 cooling setups here and the results of your overclock .

From a few days ago:

Then I got my new video card:

As of now, I am having a lot of issues with this board (booting, BSODs, overclocking failed). I cleared the CMOS which helped for a day and then the issues came back. I'm currently testing 4.3GHz @ 1.2v. Going to let it run overnight.

anyone else able to reach 5.2Ghz with H20 cooled sandy bridge setups?

2600K at 4.9 (49X100) @ 1.32v, 24/7 settings. I was able to reach 5.4 (54X100) @ 1.48v, WITHOUT Intel PLL overvoltage. It was rock-stable, but the voltage wass too high for my taste for 24/7.

Temps are all under 60 celsius (LixX and Prime), even at 5.4. Ek Supreme HF rev 2. 3 waterloops, 3 res, 4 triple 120 rads. :) Rock-stable 24/7, gaming 8 hours yesterday at 4.9 without a single problem. Not a single issue with this board. No double post, nothing.

Is anyone adding an extra fan near the CPU socket to cool the mosfets/ram/etc or should passive cooling be enough, when watercooling?

Also, finally got done adding a proper pump power plug, so pics:

The pump, reservoir, and radiator are all from my previous PCs, and are almost 10 years old now. Block is new tho.

A picture of leak testing. I'm waiting for it to get warm out so i can mod some better CM in the case.

double radiator on post #2?

does it actually aid in removing additional heat?

I was going to ask the same thing. Sandys do not run particularly hot. I had mine at 5.3 on decent air. I currently have an i7 970 @4.2 with a double rad setup and it never gets very hot - maybe 60C going full out!
