Sandy Bridge Ram

I would get the ripjaws. GSkill makes good modules. I do not have this set or a SB processor but I do have ripjaws and other GSkill ram.

Will the ripjaws have clearance issues with the A70?

I think they will have height issues where the PNY will not.

G.Skill makes some good stuff.

I cannot comment on PNY's memory lineup as the last thing I purchased by them was a Geforce 2 Ti.
 
I can't comment on PNY's memory, but the gtx 275 and 8gb flash drive I've got from them are rock solid. Then again, I've heard good things about g.skill too. FWIW, I'd go with the g.skill in this case.
 
from my pass experience with ddr2 ram, gskill never fails me (i owned more than 6 sets). but the only 1 set of pny that i owned failed just one week after i bought it. i was actually glad that it died that fast because i could still return it for a full refund:p
