Here in Denmark Samsungs 30" monitor 305t have been unavailable for at least the last four months, and large US retailers like Amazon and newegg are also unable to provide me with any information regarding when it will be available.

This leads me to speculate that Samsung might be deprecating this monitor in favour of a new model. Any insider information would be greatly appreaciated :)

I just picked up my 2nd 305t for $700 so they can be found.

Im scared that Samsung is going use the C PVA for their next 30" which is considered the "poor mans" PVA.

That sounds good. Was it an online retailer(from which i could also order one), or just some local shop that happened to have one in stock?

It sounds weird if Samsung were to replace a model with one of lower quality, doesn't it?

I have got both of mine on Ebay and although refurbished both are like new with no defects or bad pixels. You just have to be patient and keep looking for one with the right price. There are some on there right now but they are overpriced.
As I mentioned the last one I got was $700 free shipping.

Are there any other new 30" monitors on the way. I'm in the market and right now I'd get the Dell 3008WPF as it has lots of inputs and a hardware scaler.

75% of folks don't notice the lag. Good to mention it, but it's hardly a deal killer on the improved 3008.
