Samsung XL2370 Problem

Hello!
I recently bought a Samsung XL2370 display. After some weeks of using it, i noticed that on some colors, the pixels flicker. It can be seen when i stand up and look at it from above. For example, if i open itunes, and i stand up and look at the display, the white pixels from the background flicker, like a crt recorded with a camera ( maybe a little less ). When i first bought it, it worked ok. I had another one, and had the same problem.
Is this normal?
Do any of you guys who bought this display experience this problem?
Please help because i have 2 weeks to return it...

don't quote me but i've noticed this on 2 entirely different brands of TN panel (one of them being the successor to the XL2370, the PX2370, the other being the Acer G245H although clearly the PX's was more noticible to me)

Is this dithering that people speak of (where a TN quickly flicks between colours) It's noticible on greys and reds. Most the time unless you're examining the screen closely your eyes dont notice it.

Maybe someone whos an expert on this subject can confirm it, an example of something I've seen flicker on both panels is the 360 dashboard, the gradient grays that go out, or a solid red screen

Yes but this is on white. And it worked great when i bought it 2 weeks ago...Also it happens on static images, not videos or animations..

I noticed this too, on my XL2370, especially if you stand up and watch it from above, it is very noticable on blue colors with mine... it isn't really bad when you watch it from a normal angle.
btw I had other Samsung TN monitors before and never experienced a problem like this.

It can be noticed if you do programming on an app with white backgrounds and look straight at the screen for hours...
You can try opening paint and making a square filled with 251,251,251 color. It's more obvious then.
When i first bought it, it worked ok. Now this. Is it broken?

Even though you experience the flickering pixels on white backgrounds, this could still be an effect of dithering. Depending on which image preset you chose, solid white may not be composed of fully lit RGB subpixels due to a white balance different from the panels native one. You might want to try setting the display to a "custom" or "user" preset and make sure the RGB-gain adjustments are all at maximum (if available). Then check for the flickering again. Also, is it only visible from top down or also from below?

I had another xl2370 and had it replaced with this one. When i got it i checked and it worked perfectly. Now after almost 2 weeks of usage, i see the same problems the first one had on the same colors. The first one worked ok the first few days too. This happens on all settings: custom, game, movie, dynamic contrast and i can see the flicker even if i watch from below the display. Can it be because of the usage ? I'm scared the flickering will extend to more colors after some time, and then il will be too late for replacement...
I'll try your settings as soon as i get home.

I saw that there's alot of users who bought this display. Can some of you check and see if you experience the same problem? Because i don't know what to do: replace it again or ask for my money back?
Please help
