I bought T260 last week at BB, it's really nice monitor. As far as i can tell colors are displaying right no light bleeding. Played Crysis and World in Conflict so far and and I couldn't be happier.

edit
the only problem i have is when i restart pc it keeps switching between Analog, HDMI and Digital displays and I miss some boot screens. It's really annoying , can't figure out how to fix this.
Note: This doesn't happen when i shut down and then bood, just when i restart.

I hear they solved a lot of bugs with new firmware.....

Well...
Not all of them...

LOL

LoL what is that picture suppose to be showing?? And how do you load firmware onto a monitor? And to anyone that had this monitor, do you notice any ghosting in fast moving games?

It's a bug in the T240hd.. Get it? A bug?

Anyway, its a TN panel so ghosting shouldn't happen.
Just search the forum for T240HD and there's some 10 page thread.

I bought the t240 about 10 days ago. I'm not a monitor expert, and I haven't sat down to calibrate the screen properly just yet.

But I love the display. Great colors, great size, sleek design. Just make sure you're OK without height adjustments!

so, does anyone have a guide as to how to calibrate the samsung t240?

Have you tried using MagicColor? I have the T240 and I have magic color set to "Full", which enhances the image saturation and makes colors more vivid. great monitor btw, L4D looks fantastic!

yep i just did and it works pretty well with the monitor. now i dont have to use those buttons off to the side. calibration is real tricky tho... i can never seem to get the colors of the boxes to match

Got me 260.... very nice screen, no ghosting, angle problems, very good TN display. And about calibration... well, the magic tune under VIsta64bit ain't working - switches off as soon as OS loads. And yes, I got the 64bit version from Samsung site

Can't see the first loading screen too, as it switches off through modes, guess to enter the bios you just have to keep pressing key and pray :D

Buuuut.... Oblivion, Crysis, Fallout 3, Age of Conan or Lotro at 1920x1280 just worth every penny of money spent on this display and 2nd 280 :p (figured better get TN and 2nd gfx card, then ips display, as I really can't see difference between them)

Purchased some hardware calibration tool SpyderExpress, so I believe it will be more helpful then nvidia panel to set the colours and brightness right :)

Sucks for me. magicolor doesnt support GTX280 cards... they need an update bad. only supports up to 7 series.

I got mine for $380 out the door.

Are you sure? I have dual 8800GTX cards and MagicColor works fine for me, perhaps the 8 series is where support stops?

I have a new T240HD. Awesome monitor. TN's have come a long way from even a couple years ago.

When you calibrate your T260 can you post your monitor settings, it can be useful for many of us? :)
