samsung t240?it has problems help

well i just bought it of newegg.com
the first day it worked perfectly,then i was playing bioshock and the screen would turn off and have to restart it so it could work again.
so then i tried to play world of war craft and it did the same thing and it would also flicker or blink.
i was using the DVI connector and i put the VGA connector and the same thing it would turn off.
i put the driver of the monitor to see if that was the problem but no it wasn't that.
so i was just wondering how come it does turn off randomly and flicker or blink?

Does the power light turn off? Can you still use the menu button to get OSD? If not, then check power cable etc. If so, the monitor might not be getting a signal from PC.

what light? whats OSD?
well unplugged everything and then put it back.

If you can't fix your problem you can try contacting new egg or samsung itself
