anyone have em? i just got it a week ago and heard good things about it. but one problem is that i get ripples, looks like i took a magnet to the side of the monitor. i read few reviews containing the same problem. can it be fixed? or should i return this for different brand/model?
 
i just got one as well, you may try and change the the refreshrate (increase if you can), but so far i havnt' had any problems, may just exchange it for the same one
 
I had one of these a few months ago for about 2 days, same issue with the waves on the sides, as well as a checkerboard pattern that I just could not put up with at all (Explanation I heard was it was the thicker glass used on the sides to create the "square" look that caused a magnification of the normal effect that curved CRTs have). It went back needless to say. Would have been a good monitor without those defects tho, and every one I've seen since has that damn checkerboard pattern.
