samsung SSD's

I'm using the slightly larger and faster version (two of them) and they work exceptional IMO. I'm quite happy.

Samsung has gotten short shrift because they sell their SSDs through other companies in the US like Corsair and they don't get reviewed nearly as much as other SSDs.

I think Samsung doesn't care as much about the consumer market because they do well enough in the OEM market and as a result don't want to put too much effort into it.

Ockie what version are you using?
the SLC version?

so is there 128mb or 1gb of cache?! I am seriously thinking of getting a single 120gb version

its 128MB of cache (even bit-tech kept on saying 1gb and some times 128MB in there review pages of the corsair P256)

if i had the money at the time i was considering getting it but £400+ for 256gb was to much (corsair S128 32MB cache £171 very cheap and fast on access times, data rate is about same as an norm hdd but do not let the data rate of this SSD put you off its the Access times that does it)

can i link to other review web site ?

Which manufacturers are using the Samsung chipset aside from OCZ (Summit) and the Corsair (S128 and P256, yes?) with drives available in the US? Which are using MLC vs SLC?
