Got one last Tuesday through my job. It's an upgrade from my 700w.
The d-pad takes a little getting used to compared to what I was used to with a 700w.
Aside from that minor problem I like it. It's a lot thinner but I do think I'm going to get the 1800 extended battery. Keyboard is great. It sniffs out wifi networks fine but I haven't tried connecting to any yet.
Forgot to add the touch screen is not as sensitive as the 700w.
Which was an annoyance for me at first but I got used to it.
I've got it with Verizon. WiFi is nice but useless since Verizon FORCES you to subscribe to the $30 a month data plan. That's really my only complaint about it, kind of a large one if you don't want any extra monthly charges.
