Samsung S24a850dw: Great Panel, Horrible height, mods anyone?

Just got the S24a850dw and I am quite satisfied with the panel so far. I will be using it mainly for reading and cad work.

But damn it the vertical height should have been at least 5cm lower... it's a real usability problem they way it is. I am just about ready to get a hack saw and cut it down. Anyone else here try to mod it? Is there maybe a third party solution I can use for a stand?

There are to holes for screws a the bottom of the panel left and right. I wonder what these are... btw...

i agree, btw, the stand it comes with certainly goes... high, but doesn't get low enough.

cheers! I ll opt for something like this, a rubbish stand it is indeed and lol it does go way up high, maybe if you want to show something to someone in the next cubicle or something... that might be the rationale behind it...
