Samsung is reportedly throwing their hat into the gaming smartphone ring, which is currently occupied by devices such as the Razer Phone, Xiaomi Black Shark, and ASUS ROG phone. Details are currently slim to none, but expect a high-powered chipset (e.g., Snapdragon 845) and/or high-refresh display.

The tipster adds that the foldable Samsung smartphone won't be named Galaxy X, as thought previously. That might hint that the Galaxy X moniker is actually going to be used for the gaming smartphone, although it wasn't explicitly confirmed.

Are they preparing a super tower that runs on an Atom and integrated GPU, too?

You know, while we're combining things that don't belong together.

Because this combination has been so successful in the past right? Newsflash, the people that game on their phones aren't gamers and don't give two shits about gaming hardware. Gamers have a PC or a console or both because touch is a shit input method.

I've never actually seen someone playing a game on their phone that was more demanding than the typical candy crush stuff. When the 3DS first came out I saw a single adult male with one and every other instance was little children. Where are all these mobile gamers?

Here it comes, another overpriced phone from Samsung with terrible software, bloatware galore, overpriced (yes, again!) and godawful warranty service.
