what are acceptable temps for a m.2 samsung 960 evo.? running diskmark tests i maxed at a 55c. does this warrant some kind of heatsink to prolong life??
 
It'll be fine, the label on it is a heats ink. If I remember correctly the throttle temp was in the upper 70s. You shouldn't hit the 50s often - I see mid to high 40s while gaming.
