3-4 year-old 955df, upper right of the screen flickers no matter the res/refresh. Help? Is it a sign of death, or can it be adjusted out??

have you recently added anything around the monitor? i had a little fan on my desk awhile back and it caused the picture to shake. and it was like a foot away too..

I *had* a fan, a small household one, blowing into my open case a few inches from the vid card area, over the cpu. I have since changed cpu coolers, and the external fan is no longer necessary, so I unplugged it and put it away. Since I posted this afternoon, I have re-connected the 955 and the flicker doesn't seem as bad as before. I hope the fan was the culprit; I prefer to watch video, movies etc on my CRT instead of this LCD (930B).
Thanks Cthulhu for the response. :)
