using the latest beta drivers from ati, for my 9800 pro. using the drivers that came with the monitor also

basically i'm unable to unlock any refresh rates besides 60hz regardless of the resolution, i'm thinking this is a bug with vista as this monitor (1440x900 max. resolution) is supposed to be capable of 75hz at that resolution

has anyone else, who has this monitor and vista RTM 6000, had this problem?

60Hz should be OK, that's what I'm running with my 205BW. It's not like a CRT, it won't flicker at 60Hz because the backlight stays on all the time.
