Well I kind of screwed up since I am a gamer and have been happy with CRTs, but I bought a 930b and never stopped to think that LCDs look crapy when not run in there native resolution. Now I don't have the system to play anything at 1280x1024. Are there any tricks to run an LCD @ lower resolutions with out everything looking blurry, ie can it run in double scan mode if connected analog. DVI is pretty but it would be worth the trade.
AMD xp 2800
geforce 6600 gt
1gig ram
PoS gigabyte 7n400

Suggestions would be appreciated as I can't upgrade my system for about another 6 months or so.

Are you connected by DVI? The resizing looks noticeably better on my LG (with dvi rather than VGA), but then that is a different panel, so it might not apply.

Only other thing i can suggest is turn off some eye candy and turn the res up.

Also you might try nvidias scaling rather than your monitors, go into the geforce options and choose digital flat panel settings.

Yeah, thanx for suggestions. I already have Display adapter scaling checked. Dam should have got a crt, guess ill be upgrading every 6 months.
