Samsung 840 Pro or OCZ Vector 150?

Get the Samsung 840 pro or evo. Do not bother with OCZ (who is on the verge of bankruptcy).
 
I had a Vector, it lasted 3 months before it died.
Got an 840 Pro, its faster and hasnt died, 7 months in now.
 
Hard to believe the year-old 840P is still king! Way to go Samsung :D

And if they use the technology from the EVO to update the 840Pro (newer controller, portion of MLC used as SLC), the 840Pro++ could be king for another year. The fact that Samsung have not done that yet leads me to speculate that they are working on something else, too. Maybe SATA-Express, the standard for which was just formally released in August.

I think it would be king for quite a few years if they did that. Maybe long enough until flash is replaced.
 
EVO user here--I vote Samsung. </obviousbias>

That said, I've seen my friend's OCZs die repeatedly, so I never even considered them.
