Samsung 830, B versus D model

In reviewing my first purchase of an SSD, I think I'm leaning towards a Samsung 830 but notice vendors list a B and D model. What are the differences? Would another manufacturer be recommended? I'm seeing Corsair, Intel and Crucial...
 
N = notebook version (with extra stuff like usb cable)
D = desktop version (with 3½ tray)
B = bulk version (no extra)

All versions is the same drive. :)
 
A vendor has the Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5" 256GB SATA III MLC for sale this weekend under $180, is that a good deal and is this drive as good as the Samsung?

yes sir it is a good deal and M4s have been some of the most reliable SSDs on the market. i just bought a bunch of 830s, but I have used several M4s in the past. whichever you decide to go with you will not be disappointed.
