Hello. I have a samsung 731b LCD screen. The screen has a huge scratch in it.. the crystals aren't broken, but its a bad cosmetic scratch on the outside.
I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on how to go about trying to fix this. How difficult would it be to replace the LCD. Do I have to use an exact same LCD? or would any other 17 inch LCD fit? If I got a 731b that wouldn't power on, but the screen (assumed) still works would it work in it?
Its just a spare screen that I wouldn't mind putting to use again, and maybe learning a little something while doing it.. It isn't a huge deal, but I was curious what you're opinions were.
