Samsung 710N Confusion...

As I was browsing lcd monitors on newegg I found a surprising discovery....

A $440 12ms samsung LCD with 600:1 contrast, amazing brightness... however, when I check to make sure that it's not some data entry problem, I get almost completely different specs (From samsung's site) including color, contrast ratio, brightness, connectors and response time. Here's what I mean:

What is going on here? The same information found on newegg's site is found on every other retailer's site (at least on the first google page). In any case, how does this monitor compare to the 172x? The 710n seems to have better specs, but does anyone have any personal experience or reviews they can point me to?
 
I just looked up the 170n on samsung website and its doesnt match neweggs or what you found. Heres what I found:

710n, and i already posted samsung's specs, anyone have some information from personal experience or trustworthy reviews of the 710n (which i have confirmed is 12ms).
 
Yea, I also found that monitor and was wondering also about the 710VT since it seems almost the same, however I cannot find any info on it anywhere on the samsung website. Anyone tried this monitor or heard of it?
