Samsung 46" LCD Setings

Hello all,

Just picked up the Samsung 46" LCD/TV 120Hz Model LN46C630K1F at Best Buy for $989.

Can someone post or link the optimal display settings for this TV, such as backlight, brightness, contrast etc etc.

Check avsforum.com. They'll have some.

While I don't have a Samsung TV anymore, you're most likely looking at stuff similar to this:
Mode - Movie
Backlight - anywhere from 4-6
Brightness - Mid 50's
Contrast - probably low 80's to low 90's
Colour - mid to low 40's
Sharpness - Probably in the 30's, personal preference though
Dynamic contrast off, and all image enhancements off.
Warm1, or warm2 for colour temp. I prefered warm1

Dial in roughly what I suggested and then play with them until you are satisfied. The avsforums have a free calibration disc that can be played on HDDVD, Bluray, PS360 or thumbdrive with slides for basic setup. For the motion enhancements, you're going to have to screw around with them until you find what you like.

Connect to the internet with a PS3 or Laptop with HDMI and then go to this site.
