Hello,

Samsung has finally posted manual for 245T.

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/productsupport/download/Model_Select2.aspx?type=Monitors&subtype=LCD&model=245T&fileType=UM&LSSI=%2Fuk%2Fmodule%2Fssi%2Fleft%2Flmenu%5Fmonitors%5Flargeformatdesktop%2Esec&RSSI=%2Fuk%2Fmodule%2Fssi%2Fright%2Frmenu%5Fmonitors%2Esec

Incredible amount of adjustment (including Gamma), lots of scaling mode (16:9, 4:3, 1:1, Full, Zoom), exactly listing of 1080i / 1080p 50Hz/60Hz support for component and HDMI !

If all those inputs will work properly, I think I'll it will be the best buy (even if colours are slightly off according to behardware).

Regards

The real question now is when will this display be released!!!! Anyone know?

The current reviews aren't that positive about it though.
The panels aren't calibrated.

Hope that's because of the early reviews :)

It's not clear if this thing can do 1:1 over HDMI. The resolution choices for HDMI listed in the manual are "16:9", "4:3", and "wide" (whatever that means). I can't find any information about overscan (samsung TVs have a "just scan" option which I think means 1:1, but I can't find anything like that in the 245t manual). I'm one of those who didn't buy the Benq because he's waiting for another manufacturer to get it right...

I did a search for this monitor and this was arguably the most recent thread on it.

Here in the U.S., as of the other day, I asked Samsung reps directly about this and it's still essentially vaporware as far as they're concerned.

They said no known date on it or anything else.

I was looking around and I see that the 244t is becoming increasingly scarce.

So what's the deal here, folks?

its shipping in the UK, overclockers.co.uk, misco, digital kind etc...
