Samsung 244T: backlight related electrical noise

My Samsung 244T is generating some backlight related electrical noise. It changes with brightness and if the backlight is off, the noise is gone. What's the cause and can it be repaired?

Hmm, seems the backlighting even might die out soon i would recommend trying to return it so Samsung or where you bought it if "its still in the limits of your guarantee".
 
Why do you think the backlight is dying?
It's from 2006, so warranty is expired.
 
Why would any light die out? It might have reached his hour limit. 6 Years can be quite a long time.
