I missed out on the Asus 23" e-ips deal but this deal just came up and its a pva screen and is getting good reviews. Im thinking that I could get this or would it be a better idea to wait for another eips deal? I usually edit videos and such, not a lot of gaming

2333T owner here.

If you're using it mostly for work or desktop use; then it's perfectly fine; especially if you can get it at a good price. It was 149 when I bought one. The response time is crap; but it's very comfortable screen to use otherwise.

It doesn't take much to tweak the settings for excellent color and minimal gamma shift. Text looks good and colors are vibrant. My particular screen has good but not excellent backlight homogeneity.

you may wanna get a monitor without banding for serious video editing
the 2333t has slight banding unfortunately
otherwise its pretty good for it

Banding is probably made worse because its a 6bit panel (plus dithering).

Question about the response time: You mentioned the response time sucks, does the monitor have a option for the overdrive just like its other cPVA monitor equivalents?

I dont believe the 2333T has overdrive ..Ive changed the "response time" setting from normal to fastest and cant see any differences in motion. When I try the same on my PX2370 I can see the difference pretty easily.

I find the picture quality very pleasing on the 2333T Ive been using it as my primary monitor for gaming & web browsing. It does have some ghosting due to slower response but the input lag is practically non-existent so its still doable for gaming.

I also have a 2333T it is a pretty good monitor especially for the low price. I picked mine up at a wholesale club for around $150, which blew my 129 dollar Acer TN panel out of the water. Its fine for gaming although there is a tad of ghosting. For the price though I really couldn't be happier.

It looks almost as good as my Dell UltraSharp.

2333T Owner here, and the ghosting isn't bad at all. I came from a 24" Gateway TN monitor that had a 2ms response time. This monitor hangs decently with it. Though, at first I could sense a slowdown in pixel responsiveness, I haven't seen any streaking/ghosting otherwise. I'm fully used to it now, and it's definitely acceptable for my gaming needs. This is just a stepping stone for me, until Samsung releases the SA850, as I want larger screen and more resolution.
