Samsung 225BW HDCP support question.

I just bought the Samsung 225BW and it supports HDCP question is i have comcast HDTV service i am wondering if the DVI port on the comcast box would allow me to watch HDTV content on my samsung?? what do you guys think? only reason i am not sure is because this monitor cant do 1280x720 and cant do 1920x1080 ..so would it just resize the image?? or ...
