Samsung 204B, 5ms 20"?

I'm somewhat interested in this. Would like to see a review. TN is still the best for motion, and a 800:1 CR looks intriguing... you're right that the viewing angles stink but that's not the worst thing in the world for some people.

So odds are when they quote it as 16.7 million colors they're not being 100% accurate? Good chance this is a 6 bit panel?

Saw this at Futureshop this week. It's a big TN panel! You move your eyes a wee bit north or south and the colors shifts really bad(darker top of screen than bottom). This would be great for gaming I'm sure with the big screen and 5ms, but for graphic editing etc it would drive ya nuts.

Yes of course its 6-bit, everything about it screams 6-bit. The spec sheet even says its a TN, i mean really how specific can you get!!!

Does this mon come in black? I've got a 204t and the damn stuck pixel's driving me crazy! That and it's 120 bucks less at Frys...

It does come in black. It's $530-$30MIR=$500. The text looks much more clear than on my previous Samsung 204t. Also, the stand can actually go low enough to meet my eye level, something not possible on the 204t. The panel's much quicker as well. No more tracers when moving the webpage around my mon! Can't wait to play some Gamerz! Also...and MOST IMPORTANTLY!!

A BLUE LED STATUS LIGHT!!!
