I want to pick up an LCD. I've been looking at THIS LCD, which I want to get (x2) for a dual screen setup. The only question I have is, what the heck is SXGA? It says it's native res is 1280x1024 (which is exactly what I want), but I'm just wondering if SXGA is bad? Is that like, the cheap version of the screen?

Also, this won't be used for gaming, it's a work computer. Web surfing, spreadsheets, email, that kind of thing, but are these Samsungs good screens overall? The ones I've actually seen looked pretty nice, and I like the narrow bezel for the dual setup.

Thanks for any advice guys. I would have searched for these answers, but ... well you know :)

No need to worry, it is just referring to the resolution.

640 x 480 = VGA
800 x 600 = SVGA
1024 x 768 = XGA
1280 x 1024 = SXGA
1600 x 1200 = UXGA

The samsung will be great for what you are using it for. They are very bright and clear LCDs.
