Samsung 172X vs Viewsonic 171P.

Hi all.

I current have the Viewsonic 171P, and I was wondering if jumping to the Samsung 172X would be a good idea. The Samsung having a better response time and better color reproduction.

For those who have used both, is there a noticable difference? Thanks. ;-)

Tom's Hardware reviewed these monitors. While the Samsung has good response times on paper, he said it ghosted more in games and movies than the Viewsonic. Stick with the Viewsonic or go for a Hercules PV 920Pro Dvi if you can find one.
 
The 172X sent to reviewers was a 25ms panel, thus almost all reviews that you will find are wrong unless they note otherwise (this one does not).

Edit: I just noticed the actual 172X being reviewed there is not the right panel, but in a different way. The retail 172X is a 12ms panel, the one they reviewed was supposedly a 16ms.
