Okay I help out at our college radio station, and we have a streaming server... problem is the stream is slowed down. My reasoning, I think (but not positive) that the sampling rate going into this onboard sound on this linux server is at 48Khz whereas card only supports 44.1Khz so it is playing all the frames it receives hence, the slowing. Does this make sense? What happenes when your input is 48Khz and card only supports 44.1?
 
Because we have a seperate broadcasting booth and we have a an audio feed off of the mixing board which comes into the computer
