hello, i have some questions about this keyboard.

the little programmable pad that comes with it...what can it do exactly? can it do the following:
Mode 1

1 = F1
2 = F2
3 = F3
4 = F4
5 = F5
6 = F6
7 = F7
8 = F8
9 = F9

and when i switch to Mode 2
Mode 2:
1 = Cntrol + F1
2 =Cntrol + F2
3 = Cntrol +F3
4 = Cntrol +F4
5 = Cntrol +F5
6 = Cntrol +F6
7 = Cntrol +F7
8 = Cntrol +F8
9 = Cntrol +F9


i wanna use it for an RPG...but i find it hard to press Control + F9, for example (hard to reach with just one hand)
so i was wondering if the pad could do that?
 
Yeah, anything. Example of how I use it: In Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, I like to use codes......WELL.....say you want to use the code to refill your health....ok, the code for that is "aspirine"....now, whilst getting shot at and killed, the last thing you're gonna wanna do is stand there and type "aspirine" into your keyboard....instead, use the keypad! You can program it to do combos of button presses and macros and etc....so, the solution to problem was this: program the keypad to type "aspirine" for me....and it does it instantly with one press of a button! I also have it programmed as my FPS controller......2 is w, 4 is a, 5 is s, 6 is d, 3 is e, and etc....it feels more confortable thanusing the keyboard...it has lots of uses, be creative!

No problem! It works well, a lot of people say "its useless" or "it makes no sense to have it" but the sad truth is: they either never even tried it, or didn't understand how to use it. I didn't get how to program it at first....but once you get around the "aw, shit, it's not a complete no-brainer to use....I have to read the instructions" thing, then it's golden! Enjoy!
