Safe voltage level on AMD 2600 Mobile??

I was just wondering what the general consensus is for a safe voltage level on a Mobile AMD 2600XP? I realize that any voltage level increase could possibly hurt the cpu, but usually there is a voltage level that most people agree is a fairly safe level.

Try and stay below 1.8v if you are on air cooling. I am at 1.75v on air. Even 1.825 makes no difference for my oc.

Thanks for the reply. I have the cpu water-cooled. Should I still try to stay below 1.8 with watercooling??

up to 2V should be good.

watch your temps, and you should be good

This question gets asked at least 10 times a week. The answer is always the same.

Anywhere up to 2.1v as stated in the AMD engineering white papers... so long as you have adequate cooling. If you can keep it at 2.1v and 50c with air... more power to you. I did it on a xp2500 for almost a year.

Now im using that same chip, on water, and its still going strong.

Sorry for the repost then...I browse the forums daily but I haven't paid any attention to AMD for the last couple years as I've been in the Intel boat.
